Republican Festival of traditional and modern arts �Youth of Uzbekistan�

Republican Festival of traditional and modern arts �Youth of Uzbekistan� is one of the first youth projects of Fund, pointed to select and support young painters and the experts of applied arts. The festival, held once in two years, first was organized in September, 2004. Young painters and craftsmen with artistic education not older than 35 years from all regions of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city and Republic of Karakalpakstan, participate in this event. The motto of festival: �Youth of Uzbekistan� is a modern look on traditional arts of Uzbekistan�. The participants of festival present their original works, which reflect new point of view to well-known arts of young painters and craftsmen. You can see interveawing of historical traditions and tendencies of the present, past and future, West and East.
